Holiday Snow Globe Cake

Snow Globe Cake Tutorial

Do you ever see those recipes on Pinterest or in a magazine that look incredible but impossible to make? While this may look like one of them it’s surprisingly one of the easiest recipes we’ve ever made! No special piping techniques, no overnight waiting, no ingredients that you wouldn’t have lying around anyways. All you need is this recipe for the cake & frosting, a small bubble bowl, a small snowman (reindeer, tree, etc.) ornament, & some coconut shavings.

When it comes to the cake recipe we only used 2 out of the 5 layers (still made the whole thing & just saved the rest for later!), frosted it, & topped it with coconut shavings. Once you assemble the cake all that’s left to do is decorate it with an ornament & bowl! Baking included it should take you under an hour. If you want to take it to the next level feel free to add a bit more frosting on the flat top part of the bowl & sprinkle some more “snow” (coconut shavings) over it. Top it with a bow made of fondant or regular fabric (just don’t eat that version obviously), serve, & enjoy! It truly is the perfect holiday cake!

Thank you so much, Katherine!! You can always substitute the coconut for some good ole frosting id you’d prefer! xo
