It’s crazy to think but summer is just around the corner & before we know it we’ll be donning swimsuits showing off our summer figures. However, as quickly as summer comes, unfortunately our bodies aren’t designed to change that suddenly. So we thought we’d get a head start this winter by working on some delicious recipes that also are good for you. These 10 toast recipes include tons of healthy fats, fruits, antioxidants, & so much more. Plus, they taste i.n.c.r.e.d.i.b.l.e. We used ezekiel bread as the base (the sesame one is our fav) & always toast each slice on medium. Each slice is totally different even if it uses some of the same ingredients as another. From a classic, perfect avocado toast to a unique coconut kiwi slice, there’s truly something for everyone!
1. The Fancy Toast: 1/2 avocado, 1/4 tsp pickled cabbage, pinch of fresh dill, 1/2 hard boiled egg (crumbled)
2. The Dessert Toast: 1 tbsp almond butter, 1/2 banana (sliced), sprinkle of cacao nibs
3. The Harvest Toast: 1 tbsp almond butter, 1/4 green apple (sliced), sprinkle of oats, pinch of cinnamon, 5-10 raisins
4. The Unicorn Toast: 1 tbsp cream cheese + 1 drop pink food coloring, 1 tbsp cream cheese + 1 drop yellow food coloring, 1 tbsp cream cheese + 1 drop green food color, 1 tbsp cream cheese + 1 drop blue food coloring, 1 tbsp cream cheese + 1 drop purple food coloring
5. The Sweet & Savory Toast: 3 tbsp ricotta, 1/2 fig, drizzle of honey, sprinkle of hemp seeds
6. The Lean & Green Toast: 1/2 avocado, 1/4 cucumber (sliced), 3 kale leaves (chopped), drizzle of tahini
7. The Sweet Tart Toast: 2 tbsp greek yogurt, 1/2 banana (sliced), 10-12 blueberries
8. The Classic Toast: 1/2 avocado, drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle of red pepper flakes, sprinkle of pink himalayan sea salt
9. The Breakfast Fuel Toast: 1 egg (sunny side up), sprinkle of almond slivers, drizzle of sriracha
10. The Vacation Toast: 2 tbsp coconut yogurt alternative, 1/2 kiwi (sliced), sprinkle of hemp seeds, drizzle of honey
