NYFW Recap Day 4

Ah our last day at NYFW brought so many mixed emotions. As much as we didn’t want it to end, we were so excited to get started working on more content for you guys. If you ever want some real inspiration, throw yourself into the biggest week of your industries year & you’ll never feel more energized. Our day started off with a few meetings followed by some juices & snacks from Juice Press–one of our absolute favorite spots in the city. After a week of pizza & cookies, we desperately needed a detox & thankfully Juice Press has locations all over the city plus a wide variety of options so we were feeling great!

We then headed to the Sherri Hill show which was one of our favorites this season. Aside from their stunning dresses, the event was packed with some incredibly influential women: Miss USA, Miss Universe, Scarlett Leithold, & the cutest little pipsqueak 3 year old Taylen Biggs. Tons of sparkle & embellishment was included in the designs which you know we live for.

From there it was off to our last show of the season, Zac Posen. What a way to end fashion week! Instead of a show or presentation this year, Posen opted to shoot the looks beforehand & display them on large images in a gallery type setting. He also incorporated a pre-shot video of the looks so you could truly see the movement & life of each piece. Posen also kept the entire theme close to home with models he’s worked with since day 1, a photographer who used to be his roommate, the photos/video shot in his parents loft, & so many other incredible ties to make this a personal affair for him. It was truly magical.
