Eating Healthy On A Budget: Teriyaki Mushrooms

Ingredients
  • 1 package 8 oz. sliced Crimini mushrooms (I used these from Trader Joe's)
  • 3 tbsp EVOO
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki Sauce (I used this)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
Instructions
  1. Wash mushrooms & dry completely.
  2. In medium skillet heat olive oil & garlic over high heat. Add in mushrooms & stir to cover mushrooms in oil & garlic. Let cook for 2 minutes, stirring continually. Add in teriyaki sauce & reduce heat to a simmer. Stir to coat mushrooms in teriyaki.
  3. Let mushrooms simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn heat to medium & stir for 3 minutes. Return heat to simmer & repeat 2 more times.
  4. Serve & enjoy!
