Preheat oven to 350F. Slice baguette into ¼-1/2 inch thick slices. Drizzle EVOO over each slice lightly, front & back. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown/crispy (be careful testing!).
In medium saucepan add water & sugar over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar crystals have dissolved. Lower heat to medium & add in blackberries. Stir until they begin to turn red & then remove from heat. Disregard additional liquid that did not dissolve.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut off top rind of brie & place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove & place on crostinis topped with blackberries. Serve & enjoy!
