Road Trip To Toronto & Hotel Stay At Sheraton Centre

Woo hoo road trips are one of our favorite types of getaways. Possibly due to their convenience: on your own schedule, stops when & where you want (aka burgers & fries the entire time), blasting the radio, & a guaranteed spot next to friends. We’re making it a priority to do more road trips this year & our first stop was a long awaited one to Toronto, Ontario! A super quick & easy drive from basically anywhere in the Midwest, if you’re looking to travel more we say make Toronto #1 on your list.

When we arrived in Toronto, the hotel we were staying at (which we highly recommend) made it very easy to park the car (hello valet!) & take it as we pleased. At some places valet can take an extended amount of time to get your car out but the Sheraton was beyond accommodating & we never waited longer than 5 minutes. That came in handy as we had a packed schedule everyday!

Once we checked into our hotel (is the staff everywhere this friendly or is it a Canadian thing?!) we were eager to explore. The exploration of Toronto began in our hotel with an incredible view of City Hall & the city center! The Sheraton Centre is perfectly located in the heart of the city making all of our activities easily accessible. After a full day of exploring we were so excited to check out the pool & relax! It’s funny, most people think of Canada as always being cold but man oh man were we in need of a dip in that pool! For those times when it is cold (hey, we get it, we’re Midwestern after all!) the pool doubles as an indoor pool with a retractable wall cutting into it! Since it was about 80 F the day we were at the pool we got to see both halves of this humungous pool allowing us to soak up the sun & cool off in the shade. The Sheraton Centre Hotel has tons of other amenities such as a fitness center, spa, restaurant, the list goes on & on.

We completely lost track of time & after the pool it was straight to dinner & bed. We were exhausted & couldn’t wait to cozy up in our beds. We slept like babies at the Sheraton Centre & even had a hard time getting up to explore again in the morning since we were so comfortable. We would happily stay at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel again & highly recommend it for your future Toronto trips!

Thank you Tourism Toronto & Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel for sponsoring our stay!
