Pitaya Smoothie Recipe with FAB-U-WISH

Breast Cancer Awareness month might not be until October but as this cause is very near & dear to our hearts we wanted to share something with you a little ahead of time. After all, this delicious smoothie (which is super healthy!) is the perfect treat to cool off with in these ridiculous temperatures we’ve been having all summer.

We teamed up with our friends over at The Pink Agenda & FAB-U-WISH (Giuliana Rancic’s program in partnership with The Pink Agenda) to share some posts on Breast Cancer Awareness since unfortunately a woman in the US is diagnosed with breast cancer every 2 minutes.* This scary fact has us determined to put an end to breast cancer & we can get started on that with two simple steps. 1. We can change our diets & lifestyle habits. You know over here at PLSR we’re guilty of indulging quite often but after the ladies at FAB-U-WISH told us how following a healthy diet & exercising can support in prevention of breast cancer we’ve been having this smoothie for breakfast everyday.*

Aside from helping yourself you can also help others through these two incredible organizations. The Pink Agenda has raised nearly $2 million dollars for breast cancer research to-date.* Funds given to The Pink Agenda support life-saving breast cancer research in the mission to find a cure in our lifetime. Funds given to FAB-U-WISH are split between granting wishes & finding a cure through research. Together, The Pink Agenda & FAB-U-WISH have granted over 100 wishes for women facing breast cancer.*
