Mini Rosé Pop-Tarts Recipe

Mini Rosé Pop Tarts Recipe

You know the expression “Rosé All Day”? WELL, we’re about to make that totally possible with Mini Rosé Pop Tarts! This recipe lets you have rosé for breakfast finally bringing that expression to life. Let’s be honest, rosé on it’s own for breakfast, lunch, & dinner is a bit concerning. Rosé infused pop-tarts for breakfast? Not concerning at all. Inspired by our mini pop-tart cereal, this recipe uses the same dough base & same techniques however the filling is jam mixed with rosé & the icing is powdered sugar mixed with rosé. Of course we needed to add on some rosé topping & what better way to do that with some rosé infused gummy bears! You can make these gummy bears in just a few minutes on your own with this recipe or purchase them: here.

Recipe type: Dessert
Ingredients
  • for the pop-tarts:
  • 2¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup butter
  • pinch of salt
  • water
  • for the filling:
  • ½ cup raspberry jam
  • 4 tbsp rosé
  • for the glaze:
  • 4-6 tbsp rosé
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • for the topping:
  • rosé gummy bears
Instructions
  1. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. In food processor, combine flour, sugar, butter, & salt. Pour mixture into large mixing bowl & add in one egg yolk. Knead with your hands until smooth. Let sit in refrigerator for 1.5 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 360 F. Mix in extra egg yolk to dough. Add water in increments of 1 tablespoon as needed to help dough stick together. Place dough on large cutting board & roll out until about 1.5 cm in height. In small mixing bowl, combine filling ingredients. Cut dough into even number of tiny rectangles. Place half of the rectangles on parchment paper & place 1 tsp of filling directly in center of dough. Place evenly sized dough on top of filled dough & press down on sides to close. Press the edges of the dough with a fork to secure rectangles together. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool & begin making glaze by combining all ingredients in small mixing bowl. Drizzle over pop-tarts once they're cooled & top with a gummy bear. Serve & enjoy!
