Whipped Ricotta Pumpkin Toast Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ loaf of sourdough bread
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • sage leaves
  • candied walnuts
  • EVOO
Instructions
  1. In food processor, combine ricotta, sugar & pumpkin puree. Puree until smooth.
  2. Slice bread into ½ inch pieces & brush (or drizzle) front & back with EVOO. Toast or grill until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side (watch closely as toasters vary).
  3. Remove bread from toaster & top with ricotta mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top & place sage leaves with candied walnuts in the center of your toast. Serve & enjoy!
