- 4-6 figs, halved
- 6-8 slices of prosciutto
- ΒΌ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 5 oz Gabietou Herve Mons cheese (or any cow & sheeps milk cheese combination), grated
- 4 slices bread
- 6 tbsp butter
Preheat oven to 350 F. On baking sheet, place figs & prosciutto. Bake for roughly 10 minutes or until figs are juicy & prosciutto crispy. Set aside.
On cutting board place four slices of bread. Spread one tablespoon of butter on one side of each piece. Cover buttered side in parmesan cheese. Flip over & place Gabietou Herve Mons cheese, prosciutto, & figs on bread. Close sandwiches with parmesan covered pieces facing out.
Place remaining butter in skillet over low-medium heat. Place sandwiches on skillet & let cook for roughly 3 minutes or until cheese has hardened & is golden brown. Flip & repeat.
