Ingredients

  • 4-6 figs, halved
  • 6-8 slices of prosciutto
  • ΒΌ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 5 oz Gabietou Herve Mons cheese (or any cow & sheeps milk cheese combination), grated
  • 4 slices bread
  • 6 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. On baking sheet, place figs & prosciutto. Bake for roughly 10 minutes or until figs are juicy & prosciutto crispy. Set aside.
  • On cutting board place four slices of bread. Spread one tablespoon of butter on one side of each piece. Cover buttered side in parmesan cheese. Flip over & place Gabietou Herve Mons cheese, prosciutto, & figs on bread. Close sandwiches with parmesan covered pieces facing out.
  • Place remaining butter in skillet over low-medium heat. Place sandwiches on skillet & let cook for roughly 3 minutes or until cheese has hardened & is golden brown. Flip & repeat.
  • Serve & enjoy!
