- 2.5 cups almond flour
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup nut (or seed) butter
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple sauce
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 Hu Dark Chocolate Cashew Butter Bar
- salt flakes, for topping
In large mixing bowl combine almond flour, coconut sugar, baking soda, baking powder, & chia seeds. Stir to combine.
Stir in the nut butter, maple syrup, apple sauce & vanilla.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper & plop scoops of cookie dough onto tray about 1-2 inches apart. Bake for 12 minutes or until browning on top. Remove from oven, add piece of Hu chocolate to each cookie & bake again for another 2-3 minutes. Immediately top with salt flakes, serve & enjoy!
