- 1 lb fettuccini pasta
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of pink salt
- ½ lb Parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ cup beet juice
Cook pasta according to box instructions. If wanting to make pasta pink, add ¼ cup or more (depending on how pink you want it) of beet juice to boiling water. Drain pasta & set aside.
In large skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add cream, nutmeg, & salt. Let simmer for 1 minute & toss in the cooked pasta. Add in the cheese & stir to combine. Cook for 3 minutes, serve, & enjoy!
