Gooey Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe + A Secret Ingredient!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup & 1 tsp all purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ⅓ cup cashews, ground
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • caramel candies

Instructions

  • In large mixing bowl combine the sugars & flour. Add in the butter, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, cashews, & salt until all ingredients are combined. Stir in the chocolate chips & place bowl in the fridge for 1 hour. After one hour, remove dough from fridge & scoop dough onto a parchment paper lined baking tray about 3 inches apart. Place a caramel candy in the middle of each dough ball, roll them to cover the candy, & place onto the tray. Place the tray in the freezer for 45 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375F & bake cookies for 12-15 minutes. Serve & enjoy!
