Whipped Ricotta Pumpkin Toast Recipe

- ½ loaf of sourdough bread
- 1 cup ricotta
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
- pinch of cinnamon
- sage leaves
- candied walnuts
- EVOO
In food processor, combine ricotta, sugar & pumpkin puree. Puree until smooth.
Slice bread into ½ inch pieces & brush (or drizzle) front & back with EVOO. Toast or grill until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side (watch closely as toasters vary).
Remove bread from toaster & top with ricotta mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top & place sage leaves with candied walnuts in the center of your toast. Serve & enjoy!
