Where To Eat: Prime & Provisions

Eating At Prime And Provisions Chicago

Chicago is full of steakhouses. Seriously, they’re e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. So in May of 2015 when Prime & Provisions opened we were skeptical about whether it would last or not. The decision maker would be if it was worth it. Great food, ambiance, staff, & location would all play into that matter. We’re glad to report back that Prime & Provisions checked all of those boxes & then some so it’s no wonder this (somewhat) newbie in Chicago is quickly becoming a staple.

Best Fried Chicken In Chicago

You know those dishes that are definitely big enough to share with the entire table? Well, the fried chicken at Prime & Provisions is easily one of them. In fact, it’s even listed on their menu as an appetizer “for the table”. However it’s our suggestion to keep this bad boy all to yourself & order it as an entree. You’ll thank us later.

As for sides, our #1, without a doubt, must order is the mac & cheese. This is one of our favorite mac & cheese dishes in Chicago & that’s saying a lot as the city holds it’s own mac & cheese festival…

Dining at Prime And Provisions In Chicago

As for eating a bit healthier, Prime & Provisions makes that an easy feat with their pickled purple cauliflower dish served with carrots, shaved fennel, arugula, candied pecans, & local feta. Definitely another must order at Prime & Provisions.

Magical Melting S'mores Ball Dessert Chicago

Onto our favorite part of any meal, dessert! This magical melting chocolate ball is unlike any you’ve seen or tasted before. Known as their “tableside s’mores” this beauty is filled with marshmallow gelato, gourmet graham cracker crumbs, & served with marshmallow fluff & a chocolate cream. It’s as much of a delight to watch this melt as it is to taste it.
