Watermelon Lemonade Slushie Recipe

Watermelon Lemonade Slushie Recipe

Remember those lemonades you would get growing up at carnivals? They were loaded with sugar & tasted freakin’ amazing? Well, this recipe tastes just as good except it has a fraction of the sugar & we’ve added watermelon. If you ask us, it’s even better but we’ll let you be the judge. The addition of watermelon accounts for additional sweetness aka it’s the reason we can cut out so much sugar. In our opinion, it’s the perfect tart & sweet balance as the lemons are super sour & the sugar/watermelon are of course sweet. If you prefer a sweeter recipe without any of the sourness, swap out one of the lemons for an additional 1/2 cup of water. You truly can’t go wrong when making this recipe & if you’re comfortable enough in the kitchen, feel free to eyeball the measurements. Even better, you can make it to taste aka keep trying it every few mixes & you get to enjoy it while you make it!
