Best of Summer Beauty

Before each season begins I like to prep & protect my skin from what it’s about to undergo. Whether it’s weather, travel, stress or other factors, it’s good to switch up your products quarterly & give your skin a much deserved wake-up call. In my case, it was all of the above: I traveled to Italy followed by a quick trip to Palm Springs for Coachella, went from 80 F in LA to 50F in Chicago for a quick work trip, & dealt with the stress of balancing work yet also trying to take a break from it all together while on vacation. Not to mention, I probably ate only pizza & pasta for 10 days straight in Italy… So much for that #CoachellaDiet 🤦‍♀️ Below are the few items I seriously thank for saving my skin, hiding my tired eyes, & making me feel ready to take on summer!

Summer Fridays: The name of this product is exactly how your skin will feel after just one use. The sheer mask not only left my skin clear, relaxed, hydrated, fresh, & looking awake, it also cleared up my “chicken skin” aka extreme dryness that I inherited after moving to LA. I had tried every cream, vitamin, & diet change under the sun to fix this but absolutely nothing was helping. Without even realizing it would, Summer Fridays cleared it up in a matter of 4, yup just 4, uses. I now make sure to apply this mask nightly (it soaks into your skin!) & during my morning routine.

Lano Rose Hand Cream:We tend to only think of our face & maybe our necks when it comes to our skincare routine. However our hands are one of the first parts on our bodies to show aging so protecting them is a must. This Lano hand cream has the word “intense” on it for a reason. Just a little bit of it’s thick formula coats your entire hands & nearly instantly absorbs right into your skin leaving hands hydrated & baby soft.

MZ Skin Lift & Lustre Serum: I truly cannot get enough of this brand – everything they make is pure magic. I apply a few drops on my face & neck every morning (right before I put on my Summer Fridays!) to instantly hydrate my skin & achieve a soft, glowy look. It’s formula is designed to stimulate cell renewal & protect against environmental aggressors which is essential for someone like me who travels quite a bit & lives in a big polluted city such as Los Angeles.

Nucifera The Balm: I first started using this product as a lip balm, as that’s what we’re conditioned to think of when we see the word, “balm”. However it’s SO much more than that. It’s a mulit-tasking product that can remove makeup, condition split ends, & moisturize all parts of your skin. AKA The Balm is your best friend while traveling & during intense seasons changing. I’m also a huge fan of the fact that it’s organic, vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free, & cruelty-free. Miracle product? I think so.

Coola SPF Makeup Setting Spray: If you’ve read my previous “Best of Spring Beauty” posts then you know I’m obsessed with facial mists. They leave you feeling hydrated & awake, both of which my skin seriously craves. This sneaky one even has SPF 30 in it which from the texture & scent, you would NEVER guess. As if it could get any better, it even helps to set your makeup so nothing smudges or runs throughout the day, even in that 90F heat. Talk about a summer essential!
