This orange creamsicle smoothie recipe is SO perfect and tastes just like my childhood! The only difference is this smoothie is completely vegan and loaded with nutrients! I’ve been making this on repeat both for breakfast and for dessert. While it is a sweet smoothie, it’s still wildly refreshing making it the perfect treat.
What’s In An Orange Creamsicle?
This recipe contains just 5 ingredients, most of which you likely already have in your house! The base is almond milk and a dairy-free yogurt both of which give the smoothie its creamy texture. The flavor comes from a splash of vanilla extract (this one is my favorite) and orange juice. I also include a banana in this recipe which adds to the creamy texture and nutrients. This recipe has tons of Vitamin C, potassium, as well as other vitamins and minerals.
SHOP THIS POST:
- 1 banana
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ oranges, juiced
- ¼ cup DF plain or vanilla yogurt
- ¾ cup almond milk
- Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
