Where To Stay In Los Angeles: Hotel Angeleno

We just returned from our first work trip to Los Angeles & for those of you who caught our shenanigans on Snapchat/Instagram stories, it was anything but your typical “work” trip. We ate, shopped, & explored our way around LA for four days straight & at the end of the day there is truly nothing better than coming home to what feels like just that, a home away from home. Thankfully our hotel was beyond incredible & provided us with that comforting feeling & then some. A gorgeous outdoor pool, accommodating staff, views of the entire city, & so much more; it’s safe to say we’re already planning our next trip back to Hotel Angeleno.

By far the most important thing when staying at a hotel for us is the coziness of the bed. As you can probably tell from the image above, we opted to do breakfast in bed every. single. day. while we were in LA. Some days we grabbed food from the top floor of the hotel at their restaurant, West, while others we dove into boxes & boxes of sweets we had picked out on our explorations the day before. Regardless, if we’re eating in bed it’s safe to say we’re super, duper cozy. A+ on that one, Hotel Angeleno, A+.

As for the amenities, Hotel Angeleno had everything we could have wanted, especially this time of year when outdoor swimming is unheard of in Chicago. Lounging by the pool & even taking a dip were two luxuries we indulged in during our time at the hotel. At nights we loved sitting by the outdoor fireplace with a glass of wine recapping how freakin’ awesome LA truly is. Did we mention Hotel Angeleno has a complimentary wine hour everyday?! Yea people, this place is legit.

Having a balcony on our room was a huge added bonus that made our stay at Hotel Angeleno above & beyond. With views of the city, insanely gorgeous homes (I mean look at that picture above), the mountains, & sunrises it was hard to even leave our room. Plus, with LA’s gorgeous weather we loved getting some emails done from the comfort of our own balcony. Don’t worry though, at night they have blackout shades to cover the sliding doors so you’re not woken by the light in the morning. Plus can we talk about the convenience of Hotel Angeleno’s location?! All those views you’re seeing are most likely no more than a 10-15 minute drive. And that’s with LA traffic you guys! We found it incredibly easy to get around from the hotel with Brentwood just around the corner, Beverly Hills a 10 minute drive, & PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) a 10 minute drive as well. After all the horror stories of people driving for hours to get 10 miles in LA, this location was truly a blessing.

Overall we feel that we couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our stay. The location, amenities, service (free valet parking was a lifesaver!), & basically everything else was so perfect. We’ll see ya next time, Hotel Angeleno!
