‘Twas two nights before Christmas & you totally forgot to prep anything for your holiday party… Been there, done that! This super easy last minute holiday appetizer recipe will save you, don’t worry! With it’s elegant flavor profile, this crostini recipe will look as though you spent hours perfecting it while in reality it’ll take you less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
The best part about this recipe is you can truly use whatever you have in your home. Ok so maybe you’ll need that baguette (what, you don’t have one lying around?) but as for the jam, cheese, & meat you can easily swap out with other pantry items. So long as you have your bread, some type of spreadable cheese, a jam or jelly of any kind, & a meat that works well flavor wise with all of the above, you’re golden.
Fig, Goat Cheese, & Prosciutto Crostini Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 1 jar fig jam
- 3 oz. prosciutto
- 4 oz. goat cheese
- EVOO
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Slice baguette into ¼-1/2 inch thick slices. Drizzle EVOO over each slice lightly, front & back. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown/crispy (be careful testing!).
- Immediately top crostini with goat cheese, fig jam, & prosciutto. Serve & enjoy!
