Collagen Infused Smoothie Bowl Recipe

One of my adorable readers DM’d me before my interview with Kelly LeVeque asking if I could find out what Kelly really thinks of collagen. I was so glad she asked because truth be told, I was consuming it nearly every day & wasn’t even sure what it was doing to my body other than hearing that it was good for “hair, nails, & skin”. Kelly gave me all the answers I needed (find out what she has to say about it: HERE), backed by science of course, & since then I’ve been making sure to use some every single day. I put it in my smoothies, tea, or in this case smoothie bowl & you don’t even taste it! It comes in various flavors & some are even in the form of a protein powder. Below find one of my favorite healthy smoothie bowl recipes that’s infused with collagen along with some of my favorite collagen products!

Ingredients

  • for smoothie bowl:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ cup rolled oats (can sub for ¼ avocado)
  • ¼-1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 tbsp collagen
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • for toppings:
  • coconut shavings
  • frozen blackberries

Instructions

  • Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth. Pour into bowl & top with desired toppings. Serve & enjoy!
