Caramel Apple Turtle Donut Recipe

This time of year I often receive the question of, “how can I enjoy all my holiday parties yet still maintain a somewhat healthy diet?” Trust me, I get how hard it can be going from party to party surrounded by only cheese boards, dessert spreads, & unhealthy foods that are practically calling your name. You guys know I’m all for indulging, but I believe there is a certain way to do so that will help maintain your sanity and waistline. These Caramel Apple Turtle Donuts are the perfect way to do just that. They’re deliciously sweet from both the Pink Lady Apple base & toppings of chocolate (you can use a more pure dark chocolate to keep it healthier) & caramel. Plus if you have more of a salty/savory tooth, you’ll achieve that flavor from the pecan crumbles on top. In my opinion, they’re the perfect way to indulge while not going too crazy. Honestly, this time of year I find myself reaching for Pink Lady Apples whenever I’m at home craving something sweet because they’re SO good & taste like candy! Plus, they’re in season right now so you know they’re going to be good.
