Honestly I think the hardest part about making new chia seed pudding recipes is figuring out what to write, right here. How do I categorize something that technically is a breakfast food but tastes like dessert? I could tell you how it’s a one step recipe that seriously couldn’t be easier to make, but surely you’ve heard me say that before in my Strawberry Cheesecake Chia Seed Pudding post, Apple Pie Chia Seed Pudding post, & Cookie Dough Chia Seed Pudding post. I honestly don’t want to bore you guys but I really don’t want to stop making these because I’m a little bit obsessed… So here ya go: this is a super easy, tasty, satisfying, & healthy (say what!) recipe for chia seed pudding that tastes like your grandma’s banana bread without all the carbs & sugar. BOOM. Enjoy!!
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Chia Seed Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 tbsp chia seeds
- 1½ cup unsweetened original almond milk
- 2 bananas, mashed
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ cup mini chocolate or carob chips
Instructions
- Mash bananas until smooth. In large bowl, mix together bananas, almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, & chia seeds. Stir & let sit overnight in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Add in chocolate chips, stir again, serve, & enjoy!
