This whipped ricotta toast however is infused with pumpkin & cinnamon making it the perfect fall staple in your kitchen. Taking only a few minutes to make, this recipe requires minimal ingredients & minimal effort. It would be perfect for a holiday party served on crostini instead of sourdough but makes for a great lunch served as shown. Whipped Ricotta Pumpkin Toast Recipe

Ingredients
- ½ loaf of sourdough bread
- 1 cup ricotta
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
- pinch of cinnamon
- sage leaves
- candied walnuts
- EVOO
Instructions
- In food processor, combine ricotta, sugar & pumpkin puree. Puree until smooth.
- Slice bread into ½ inch pieces & brush (or drizzle) front & back with EVOO. Toast or grill until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side (watch closely as toasters vary).
- Remove bread from toaster & top with ricotta mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top & place sage leaves with candied walnuts in the center of your toast. Serve & enjoy!
