We knew we had to create something chocolatey & delicious that was also healthy in order to tame this habit. Believe it or not, this Triple Chocolate Ice Cream is an awesome better-for-you alternative. It’s made with just frozen bananas, unsweetened 100% cocoa powder, carob chips, & homemade hardshell (coconut oil + unsweetened 100% cocoa powder). It’s totally vegan, takes only 5 minutes to make, & tastes absolutely perfect.
- 4 ripe bananas, chopped & frozen
- 2 tbsp unsweetened 100% cocoa powder
- 3 tsp carob chips
- hardshell (1 tbsp melted coconut oil + 2 tbsp unsweetened 100% cocoa powder)
- In food processor, combine bananas & cocoa powder. Puree or blend until smooth. Stir in chips with a spoon. Drizzle with hardshell. Serve & enjoy!
